Testing
LARC VEC

Testing Sessions are held the second Monday of each month, except December, prior to the regular club meeting.  Free testing begins at 6:00 PM and includes tests for all Amateur Radio Licenses.  Remember, since February 23, 2007, there is no Morse Code requirement for any Amateur Radio license.  Also don't forget, you can take multiple tests in one session and it is still FREE!

Every person who passes their test and is not currently a member of the NKARC Club will automatically receive a FREE membership to the Club for the balance of the year!

For the test, you will need to bring two forms of identification, one of which must have your picture on it, and a testing fee of $0. Yes, their is no testing fee. It is FREE!  Please make sure you complete a Club Application form for your free membership!

You will also need at least two #2 pencils and, if you would like, a calculator.  However, please be prepared to demonstrate to the officials that the calculator memories are empty.  We will supply you with the necessary forms, etc.

You do not need to be a member of the club, or even an Amateur Radio operator, to test.  Everyone is welcome!

For more information or to make an appointment for a test, please contact Lee Stephens at kk4jsj@arrl.net.
